19th Century German made Double Barrel shotgun with Gold Inlay. Beautiful example of German gun making. Gun is engraved J. Schmidt & Sohn Hofbuchsenmacher in Schwerin has a removable fore-grip, double barrels are different size one is just smaller than a 12 gauge, the other is larger than a 20 gauge. For the collector only and has never been shot although in the family for a century. Stock is in good condition metal is plume colored dark, engraving still present along with several different animals in gold inlay. Very rare manufacturer and type of shotgun. I have found no comparables.
