The Jeep 4xe has three driving modes: Electric Mode, Hybrid Mode, and eSave Mode:
Electric Mode
The Jeep runs solely on the electric battery's range, as long as the battery charge is at least 1%. This mode can travel up to 21 miles without producing tailpipe emissions.
Hybrid Mode
The default mode, which combines the electric motor and the 2.0L turbocharged engine's torque. This mode provides maximum horsepower, acceleration, and torque, but uses more gasoline. In Hybrid Mode, the Jeep 4xe can achieve up to 49 miles per gallon/kilowatt.
eSave Mode
When the battery is low, the Jeep 4xe uses only the engine, while reserving battery power for later use. The engine shuts off automatically when power demand is low, which can be useful for saving energy before a later drive
