Butler Machinery is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Ag Technical Instructor to join our team in Fargo, and help shape the future of our training programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Conduct instructor led classes.

-Prepare needed materials and calendar for upcoming classes.

-Participate and assist with programs designed to encourage technician development, such as

Tech Wars, Parts Wars and Summer Service Kickoff.

-Stays current on product lines and equipment systems by attending supplier classes, and doing

research for new materials.

-Works within and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC.

-Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

-Mechanical experience with the product lines we represent.

-Certified AGCO, CLAAS/Lexion, MACS Air Conditioning, and Caterpillar CIAP certification preferred.

-Understanding of Electrical systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting

-Understanding of Hydraulics systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting

-Understanding of Powertrain systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting

-Understanding of Engine systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting

-Basic understanding of computer operation and machine programing as it relates to the training responsibilities.

-Ability to read and understand professional and technical manuals, schematics and software programs.

-Must possess a clean driving record and be able to meet company insurability guidelines.
